We have decided to keep the girl's makeup to a minimum throughout almost the entire product. This is because we want to represent her as youthful and innocent, rather than older, which is what she'd look like if she wore heavy makeup.
We have also decided to keep the girl's hair simple for the same reason, and only want her hair either down or in a ponytail throughout almost the entire product.
The only times we will see the girl with her hair and makeup any different is in the montage scene, where she applies lipstick and puts her hair up into a bun. This is because in this scene it shows the girl wants to be more mature and sophisticated, and we want to represent this through hair and makeup as it will come across a lot more clearly than other aspects.
